Here on the West coast of Scotland we are just starting to see a few signs that Spring has arrived. We have been gripped by a cold Easterly wind for weeks, but at least it has brought some dry days.
After work the other day we walked along the track and watched a few tiny lambs jump and play. Primroses bloom, catkins dangle and a few more weeks will bring the bluebells.
Days are filled with the routine of filling jars with marmalade and lemon curd in vast quantities and baking cakes. Always lots of cake!
At least the kitchen is warm.
